The image encoding method includes: determining the number of bits of information using the color information and the number of color components; and the encoding parameters on the image frame will not use the number of bits of information encoding wherein each color component of the image frame corresponding to the PPS. Thus, redundant information can be reduced, the bit cost of the encoding is further reduced, and the syntax structure of HEVC can be optimized.
